The steel pipes we handle emit large amounts of CO2 in their production and transportation processes, and their impact on the environment is significant.
By accurately understanding the needs of the steel pipe market and working in partnership with manufacturers and trading companies, we help curb excessive production while still meeting market needs.
In addition, by operating warehouses across Japan to store and distribute products, we realize efficient logistics with minimal waste.
By capturing needs correctly (producing no more than necessary) and providing functions that enable efficient transportation, we contribute to minimizing environmental impact.
In addition, we have introduced solar power generation systems at our Hokuriku and Yamaguchi offices.
We also use electricity generated from renewable energy sources at seven locations—Sapporo, Tsuchiura, Urayasu, Nagoya, Shibatani, Yamaguchi, and Fukuoka—and strive to minimize our environmental impact wherever possible.
These initiatives resulted in a reduction of approximately 392 tonnes of CO₂ emissions in fiscal year 2025.
This reduction is equivalent to the amount of CO₂ absorbed by approximately 28,000 cedar trees in one year.
